Article 1 - When I clicked on the link it stated "The requested document was not found."

Article 2 - I do agree that schools are behind on the technology we provide for our students. We need to push for more. I am sure it is tough for the administration to divide the budget every year to see that each department is supplied with the materials and supplies that are needed. With more support coming from teachers and students, in regards to technology, the better chance we have to change the outline of the schools outlook on the advancements and importance of technology.

Article 3 - I believe the ISTE NETS Project is a great way to reach out to all parties involved. This is a great way for the importance of technology and education to be heard. This article talks about providing standards and curriculum for students and teachers. The point we have to get across to students, parents, teachers and the administration is that technology plays a very important part in today's fast pace world.

Article 4 - I have to say this was an interesting article. I was one that liked the things the way they were. You could say I was change-challenged. I graduated from FHSU in 2001 with a business degree and up until November 2006 I worked full-time. I worked in Insurance and in that industry; programs, companies, underwriting procedures, computer software & etc are always changing. I learned it was pretty easy to adapt with the changes and appreciate the new ways and new technology.

Article 5 - The virtual classroom makes earning your degree a reality for individuals who may not be able to do so otherwise. I was able to take 9 hours this semester through virtual classes. It would have been otherwise impossible since I live an hour and 15 minutes away from Hays and I was expecting a baby in March. Virtual courses tend to be very flexible which is extremely helpful especially when you have a 3 year-old and a newborn.
